Mark and his wife Cynthia have lived in the South Bay for the past twenty something years and for the last ten years in the Bonita Valley. They have three adult children and live alone except for Cynthia’s mother, two Horses, three dogs , ten chickens and one bee hive. Mark has worked for National Steel and Shipbuilding company for the last twenty seven years as Test and Trials Superintendent. Cynthia is retired and loving it. Mark keeps busy with his two hobbies ; horseback riding and scuba diving, in addition to gardening and working his want to be farm.

Mark loves nature and the associated creatures found in both the above and underwater environments. His philosophy is to enjoy our natural environment for sport and entertainment, but that we all have an obligation to preserve and protect our enviroment for this and future generations. Mark has volunteered to help with our Bonita Valley trails so that as our community grows we will still be able to maintain our rural roots and the quality of life that results from it. Mark spends many hours on our Valley trails on his black and white walking horse and enjoys talking to other trail users, say hello the next time you see him.
