Trails Rep Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for a group of trail users
  • Post notices and verbally "spread the word" about important info
  • Recruit Trail Care Volunteers 
  • Recruit, coach and support Trails Advocates to champion trails projects within your area.
  • Monitor trail conditions within your area, and identify any potential projects to preserve, expand, or improve trails.
  • Organize and promote local trail rides and events - to introduce people to unfamiliar trails, and provide a fun way for trail users to get to know each other.
  • Teach and practice Ground Rules for Working Together
